Handy Key combinations
Exact Financials can be operated by means of keyboard or mouse. In case you use the keyboard, you can use the key combinations listed below. Each screen in Exact Financials has a status bar at the bottom. This status bar indicates which key combinations can be used for the field at which you are pointing at this moment.
| To open a search screen to use data in the actual screen which was already entered in a previous screen.

| To select data.

| To go to the next screen.
| <Tab>

| To back to the previous screen.
| <Shift> + <Tab >

| To go to another Tab sheet??.

| To switch a setting on or off.

| To select or deselect several options.
| <Shift> + <Up> or <Shift> + <Down>

| To change the sorting method in an entry screen.
| <Ctrl> + <Right> or <Ctrl> + <Left>

| To close a function.
| <Esc> |
You can switch the menu by using the key combination <Alt>, followed by the underlined characters (hotkeys) in the menu path. See [Main screen].
