Viewing Payroll Divisions Report

Introduction

This page provides an overview of the payroll status for various divisions on what has been done and what needs to be done for a specific division. For example, has the payroll been entered, calculated, authorized, or processed.

Roles & rights

To view the payroll status for different divisions, function right 515 – View payroll status report is required. Users with the HR role have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the results according to the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Refresh

Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Frequency

Select the required frequency for the payroll to be displayed.

Payroll year - Period

Select the period of the payroll year for the payroll results to be displayed. By default, the payroll year is displayed.

Show: Previous period

Select this check box to display the payroll results from the previous period.

Start date – End date

This displays the start and end date of the selected period once you have clicked Show or Refresh.

Status

Select the Active, Inactive: Current period, and/or Inactive check boxes to display the respective statuses of the period.
