Machinery
Enter a unique code and description for the machinery that you want to create.
General tab
Search code
Enter a related code/word to be used when searching for the particular machinery.
Date into/out of use
Enter the date on which you started to use the machinery in the first date-entry box and/or the date on which you stop using it in the second date-entry box.
Date last/next maintenance
Enter the date of the last maintenance in the first date-entry box and/or the date of next maintenance in the second date-entry box.
Start/end date guarantee
Enter the start date of the guarantee in the first date-entry box and/or the end date of the guarantee in the second date-entry box.
Cost center
Select the cost center to which you want to allocate the costs and revenue of the machinery. When you make project entries for the work performed by this machinery, the cost center which linked to the machinery will be suggested.
Norm
Enter the regular hours that the machinery will be used.
Currency
Enter the currency in which the rates of the machinery will be expressed.
Internal rate
Enter the internal rate for this machinery.
External rate
Enter the external rate for this machinery.
Properties tab
In Exact Finance, you can create properties in [Finance: Tables, Maintenance, Properties]. In Exact Project, you can link these properties to a machinery and give them a value. Only properties created for the 'Machinery' entity type can be linked to a machinery in Exact Project. You can click the 'Add' button to link properties to the machinery or 'Delete' button to delete the properties. The availability of columns for you to enter information is dependent on the type of property selected.
Documents tab
You can click the 'Add' button to link documents to the machinery or 'Delete' button to delete the documents.
Matrix for data entry
Category code: External
Select an external category of the document to be linked to the machinery. You can create external categories in [System: Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance].
Description
Enter a description of the linked document, if required.
Path: Complete
Enter the full path or URL of the document. The path in the 'Fixed location' field on the 'General' tab in [System: Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance] if defined, will be filled in by default. Then you will only need to enter the remaining path.
