[File, Financial control, Close/open periods]

Financial year

Each financial transaction belongs to a financial year. Enter the financial year in which you want to close a period.

Period

Enter the period you want to close.

Journal

Select the journal to be closed for entries in the period in question or leave the field empty to close all journals.

• You can only select journals which do not contain any unposted entries in the period in question.

Select {Close} to close a period or select {Reopen} to reopen a period. No entries can be made in closed periods.
