Preparation and implementation

Can a customer already prepare to import E-Invoices?

Answer: Yes, a customer can prepare:

  • Account cards
    • Peppol Identifier Type 
    • Peppol Identifier 
    • Send method for invoices 
    • eInvoice format
    • Offset account
    • Bank account
  • Company screening
    • Dutch customers can check if the UBO registration for KvK is up to date
    • French en Belgian customers can create or review their registration for 'It's me'
Is Consultancy always needed to configure receiving of Peppol invoices?
No, a customer will be able to use a wizard to register to Invoice Gateway.
Is it possible to import external sales invoices and use Peppol for sending?
Yes, this is possible.
Can ImageCapture from Scansys be used to import Peppol invoices?
Yes, this is possible with Scansys.
Is it possible to bulk update the invoice send method (to Electronically) and E-Invoice format for accounts?
The invoice send method can be changed in bulk via [CRM, Processes, Selections/Actions]. However, the E-Invoice format cannot be changed here, this is on the roadmap. The UBL format can be changed in bulk via [System, General, Settings, Documents settings] using the 'Link layouts to debtors' icon behind the 'E-invoice field' in the 'Logistics' section

Identification and registration

Does Exact have it's own Peppol Access Point?
Yes.
Can I subscribe for Peppol with a GLN number?
No, we don't support GLN as a Peppol identifier, but please create or ask support to enter a solution feedback.
Can I subscribe for Peppol with an Organisatie/Ondernemings number?
Yes, you can use the VAT number in Globe as Peppol identifier. Exact will use this number as enterprise number for the Peppol registration.
Can I subscribe for Peppol with an IBAN number?
No, you cannot use the IBAN number in Globe as Peppol identifier.
Can I sent a Peppol invoice to a customer who is subscribed with a GLN number?
Yes, this is available in Exact Globe+ as well as Exact Globe Next.
Can I sent a Peppol invoice to a customer who is subscribed with a SIREN or SIRET number?
Yes, this will be available in Exact Globe+.
Can I sent a Peppol invoice to a customer who is subscribed with an Organisatie/Ondernemings number?
Yes, this is available in Exact Globe+ as well as Exact Globe Next..
Which identification number can be used for the Peppol registration in Belgium?
The VAT Number can be used for the registration. Exact will use this number as enterprise number for the Peppol registration.
Which identification number can be used for the Peppol registration in the Netherlands?
The Chamber of Commerce (CoC) Number can be used for the registration.
Which identification number can be used for the Peppol registration in France?
The SIREN number can be used for the registration.
Can I use the same ESS user for multiple administrations.
No, the ESS user should be unique. Email aliases can be used, for example: yourname+databasename@email.com
Can a customer choose their own PA in France which integrates with Exact Globe+?
No, this is integrated and defined by Exact so it's not needed to choose a PA in France.
How can I activate the sending or receiving functionality after deactivating?
When you have clicked 'Deactivate' for the sending or receiving functionality in the wizard, it is important you first close the wizard browser before you activate again. Note: it takes up to 24 hours for the deactivation process to be finished. Once deactivation is ready, go to [System, General, Settings]. On the 'Company data settings' tab click the 'Activate e-invoicing via Peppol' icon. A new browser will be launched and now you can newly activate the sending and/or receiving functionality.
Can I onboard for Globe+ when I am logged on for Peppol in EOL?
No, you always have to log off from EOL and fully close the browser before you can start the onboarding for Globe+
Is it possible to migrate a Hermes registration for Peppol to Exact Globe?
Yes, when subscribing for Peppol in Exact Globe (or other Exact products), the Hermes registration is automatically transferred to our access point in the background. No extra steps need to be done for the migration.
Why do I get the error 'Application already registered for this license code'?
You can register a company code once per license on Peppol. It is not possible to use Peppol in a test environment.

Module and invoicing

Is an extra module needed to receive Peppol invoices?
Yes, Exact offers different bundles. More information can be obtained via Account Manager or Sales.
Is an extra module needed to enable E-Reporting in France?
Yes, more information can be obtained via Account Manager or Sales.
Will bundles for Peppol Receive always be invoiced monthly or is annual invoicing also a possibility?
Exact will invoice bundles only monthly.
Is it possible to receive Peppol invoices in Exact Globe Next?
Yes, but only a simple import screen is available. There is no support for Incoming Invoice Register (IIR) in Exact Globe Next.
Is it possible to receive Peppol invoices and enable E-Reporting in Exact Globe Next for French customers?
No, this is only possible in Exact Globe+.
Is it possible to receive Peppol invoices in Exact Globe+?
Yes, this is possible. There is a module available to enable this functionality.
Which products and countries will be supported for receiving invoices?
This is described in document 32.342.642
Is the count of received e-invoices per administration or per contract?
The E-Invoice Receive license item is per Exact Globe/Exact Business Software contract. The count of received e-invoices is per Exact Globe administration.
Which bundle is needed for multiple administrations with the same license, but with a different number of invoices to receive?
You need the bundle which covers the administration with the highest number of e-invoices to receive.
Will I get a notification when the limit of importing invoices is reached?
Yes, in case 90% of the limit is reached for importing invoices you will get a message.
Is over usage possible with the bundles in Exact Globe?
No, in case you received 100% of the invoices in your bundle the import will be blocked.
Is it possible to add attachments when sending e-invoices?
No, currently this is not possible. This topic is on the roadmap for a future release.
Is it possible to send invoices, which were initially sent via email or which were printed, from the invoice history to PEPPOL without first making a credit note?
No, currently this is not possible. This topic is on the roadmap for a future release.

Receiving and sending international

Is it currently possible to send to other countries?
Yes, for some countries using Peppol. For example from Belgium to the Netherlands.
Is Luxembourg connected via Belgium?
No, this is not yet implemented.
Is it possible for a Austrian customer to send an invoice to a German customer?
No, both are Peppol but masterdata could be missing.
Is it possible for a Belgium customer to send an invoice to a Dutch customer via OIN?
Yes, this is possible in Exact Globe+ as well as Exact Globe Next
When I invoice a Belgium customer will it automatically go via Peppol?
No you first need to set the send method to 'Electronically' in the debtor master data.
