Product Update 414: Chart of accounts integration introduced (Luxembourg legislation)

As of product update 414, the chart of accounts for the Luxembourg legislation has been integrated with the existing chart of accounts in Exact Globe Next. Previously, the chart of accounts was maintained locally.

With this enhancement introduced, the creation of the master data and the template for new companies will be based on the latest chart of accounts, as displayed in the following:

For existing companies, the latest chart of accounts can be generated via Finance à General ledger à Chart of G/L’s. To generate, click the Template button, select Luxembourg at Selection, and then click Generate.

 Upon clicking Generate, the following screen will be displayed:

The following options will be available for selection.

• Yes to all – Select this option to overwrite all existing data.
• Yes – Select this option to overwrite existing data.
• No to all – Select this option when you do not want to overwrite all existing data.
• No – Select this option when you do not want to overwrite existing data.
• Close – Select this option to cancel the generation of the template.

 In line with the integration, the top five categories for the reporting group will be listed in the Primary reporting group while the remaining two categories will be listed in the Secondary reporting group.
