Maintain: Formula
[Assets: Master data, Maintenance, General, Depreciation formulas] or
[System: Application, Formulas, Formulas, Maintenance]
Layout type
Select the layout type to specify the screen that the depreciation
formula is associated to.
Formula code
Enter a unique code for the depreciation formula you are creating.
General tab
Translation
Enter the translation or label for the depreciation formula. This label
contains the description of the formula. See [Translations].
Data type
Select one of the following options to indicate the output of the data:
- {Character}
- {Date}
- {Decimal}
- {Integer}
- {Logical}
Length
Enter the a value to specify the length of the data type allowed.
Decimals
Enter a value to specify the decimal that you want to use in the
depreciation formula.
Formula
You can specify the formula that
Documents tab
You can click the 'Add' button to link documents to the item or 'Delete' button to delete the
documents that have been linked.
Matrix for data entry
Category code: External
Select an external category of the document to be linked to the item. You can create
external categories in [System:
Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance].
Description
Enter a description of the linked document, if required.
Path: Complete
Enter the full path or URL of the document.
The path in the 'Fixed location' field on the 'General' tab in [System:
Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance] if defined, will be filled
in by default. Then you will only need to enter the remaining path.
