How to create separate App Registration within Microsoft Entra ID for Exact Globe+

When you want to use Federated Identity (FID) in combination with Exact Globe+ you can use the App Registrations you have created within the Azure Portal for Synergy or create a separate App Registration for Exact Globe+.
The advantage is that, for Synergy you can force Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and you can exclude MFA for Exact Globe+ users using Conditional Access.

To create a separate App Registration within the Azure Portal for Globe+, follow the next steps:

• Login into the Azure Portal and navigate to Microsoft Entra ID
• Click on menu option: 'App registrations' and click on the button: '+ New Registration'
• Provide a logical name, for example: 'Globe+ FID'
• Add 'Redirect (URI) option, select Public client/native (mobile & desktop) and enter the URL: 'http://localhost'
• Click on the button: 'Register'
• Select in the left menu for 'Authentication' and below the section: 'Mobile and desktop applications' click on link: 'Add URI' and add: 'urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob'
• In the Advanced section: 'Allow public client flows' change the option to Yes and click on the Save button
• Click on the left menu for option: 'API permissions' and click on the button: 'Grant admin consent for [name]' for the 'User.Read'
• Click on the left menu for option: 'Expose an API' and click on the link Add which is shown after: 'Application ID URI'. 
• An 'Application ID URI' will be 'generated' and click on the Save button.
