Introduction

This chapter describes the process of efficiently maintaining and depreciating fixed assets using Exact Fixed Assets C/S. The description of the functions this chapter is based on the steps you need to take, to record depreciation of your assets. Exact Fixed Assets C/S enables you to choose any depreciation method you want. You can change to another depreciation method until a particular asset is actually depreciated. You can also record various data relating to the assets e.g. currencies, cost centers, subsidy amount etc.

Exact Fixed Assets C/S can be linked to Exact Finance C/S. By linking these programs, data from the purchase journal in Exact Finance C/S will be created Exact Fixed Assets C/S automatically. Journal entries from Exact Fixed Assets C/S are created in Exact Finance C/S automatically.
