Generating stock aging reports

Introduction
The stock aging report displays an overview of all the items that are in stock in the system. From this report, you will be able to view the age of the inventory, the stock turnover, and the average age of the inventory. The calculation of the average inventory, inventory turnover, and average days to stock is as follows:

This feature is available only if you have the SE1300 – E-Inventory Management license in your application.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I generate the stock aging report?
- Click Advanced to display additional criteria.
- Define the relevant criteria of the items to be displayed in the stock aging report.
- Click Start.
Fields
General section
Warehouse
Type or select the warehouse code to display only items from the selected warehouse.
Reference date
Type or select the reference date to display items with the reference date. By default, the current date will be displayed.
Display section
Age
Type the age of the stock to be displayed.
Show
Select Purchase units or Sales units to display the item quantities in purchase or sales unit.
Precision
Type a value to define the decimal precision for the quantity and amount.
Item section
Item group
Type or select an item group or a range of item groups to display only the items belonging to the defined item group(s) in the report. Alternatively, select the All check box to display items belonging to all item groups in the report.
Item
Type or select an item or a range of items to display only the defined item(s) in the report. Alternatively, select the All check box to display all items in the report.
Last used date
Type or select the date when the item was last used. By default, the current date will be displayed.
Status
Select the Active, Blocked, Discontinued, Inactive, and/or Future check boxes to display only items with the selected status(es) in the report.
Attributes
Select the Sales, Stock controlled, Buy, and/or Make check boxes to display only items with the selected attribute(s) in the report.
Only items with stock G/L
Select this check box to display only items that are linked to general ledger accounts (with Stock account selected at Subadministration in the account maintenance) in the report. For more information, see Creating and maintaining general ledger accounts.
Assortments section
The number and names of assortment fields displayed depend on the assortments defined at Inventory ? Items ? Assortments. For more information, see Creating and maintaining assortments.
Buttons
Start
Click this to generate the stock aging report based on the defined criteria.
Advanced / Simple
Click Advanced to gain access to more selection criteria. Click Simple to hide the advanced selection criteria.
Close
Click this to exit.
