Maintain: Timesheet
[Project: Projects, Entry, Entry procedures, Employee timesheet]
Employee
Enter the employee for whom you want to enter a timesheet. If you have enabled the setting of 'User can enter own timesheet only' in [Project: File, Company settings, Project settings], you are not allowed to create timesheet for other employees except for yourself only.
Year / Week
Enter the year and the week in which you want to enter the timesheet.
Entry status
Select to define if the timesheet is {Draft} or {Final}. You can pre-define the default value for this entry status in [Project: File, Company settings, Project settings] on 'Entries' tab. Data of the timesheet will only be posted if you have selected {Final} as the entry status.
Check
By default, this field is filled with the number of hours the employee works per week based on employee master data. You are not allowed to change it.
Total hours
By default, this field is filled with the total amount of time in which an employee worked on projects, based on the amount of time entered in the timesheet.
Matrix for data entry
You can enter the following data in the timesheet by clicking the 'Add' button:
Project
Enter the project in which the employee is working on.
Hour Category
Enter the hour category in which the employee is working on.
Monday until Friday
Enter the number of hours spent by the employee on the project and the hour category per day.
Description
Enter a description for the timesheet if necessary.
