Asset book

Enter a unique code for the asset book you are creating.

Calendar

Select the calendar you want to link to this asset book.

Posting book

Enable this setting if you want to use the asset book you are creating as a posting book. The posting book is the asset book which will be used for actual depreciation in your financial accounting system.

• If the asset book is the posting book, the currency code for the asset book must be the same as the default currency used in your financial accounting system.
• Only one asset book can be used as a posting book.

Currency

Select the currency code in which the fixed asset is valued and in which it will be depreciated.
