Search account
It’s important to know if the customer already exists in
your system because of outstanding items, historical data and so on. There
for we should check if this customer is a new customer or not. So in the
Exact Software we should search if this Customer exists.
Where to
search: e-Sy CRM
This screen is used to search the
customer database. In the process it is used to find out whether the
customer is an existing associate.
In e-Sy.CRM it is possible to search for customer and contact (-person)
information, this will be described below. The more options you fill in,
the more you can refine your search. This means you will get fewer results
and more accurate hits.
How to search for Accounts
To recall the information of the
associates in your system you can use the link ‘Accounts’. where five
buttons are of interest:

Click this button after filling in your search criteria to start
the search for accounts or contacts;
When you click this button, the fields you have filled in the first place
become empty again;
This options enables advanced customer search fields
In this screen de default search criteria can be

this button after filling in your search criteria to count the number of
search results
The text fields in e-Sy.CRM are not case-sensitive and
it is possible to only fill in part of the text, even if this text is not
the beginning of the text. It is also possible to use wildcards. If you do
not know part of a text, you may fill in the percent sign ‘%’ instead. A
search for ‘joh%n will give ‘johnson’ but also ‘johanson’, if such a name
exists in your database.
If there are no results to your search you will get the
following message:
No records found for the given selection criteria.
