InterConnect for Macola Configuration: Security
The security feature sets the security level for viewing costs on sales orders and purchase orders.
You must have the Administrator role to edit and configure the Security Settings.

Note: The Administrator role overrides role and security level settings, allowing users with the administrator role to see all information in Interconnect.
How to Configure Security in InterConnect
- Navigate to the main InterConnect page (Menu: InterConnect).
- Click Setup.
- Under the General heading, click Security.
InterConnect with a Macola ES back office:

InterConnect with a Progression back office:

- Cost: Security Level: Select the minimum security level for viewing costs on sales orders and purchase orders.
- Allow Cost Override: Select this check box to allow users to edit the unit cost on quote line item entry for inventory items. Clear this check box to list the unit cost on quote line item entry as view only. This setting applies to only internal users. It does not apply to resellers or customers if they are able view costs.
- Click Save.
