Excel Add-in: explanation function REV_GROUP
Introductie
Introduction
With the REV_GROUP function you can include revenue statistics in the worksheet divided
by assortment, representative and debtor. You can also do
this with the REV_GROUP_FY function. Both of these functions work in the
same way, but with the REV_GROUP_FY function you can also retrieve information per
financial year.
Explanation
of the fields
Company
Select the
administration from which you want to retrieve the Exact data. If you select
'Default', the data will be taken from the default
company. If you select a
company, the data from the selected company will be
displayed.
The
advantage of not selecting a company is that the same report can be used for
each company. You only need to change the default company to get the right data.
Function
Select the
function you want to use. In this
case
'REV_GROUP'
Assortment
Select the assortment you want to have
displayed in the report.
Debtor number
Select the debtor you want to have displayed in the
report.
Representative
Select the representative you
want to have displayed in the report.
Period
Select the period for which you what the amounts displayed in the
report.
Type
Select the value for the information
you want to have displayed. You have the following options:
- Revenue

- Revenue
PY (2)
- Revenue
quantity (3)
- Revenue
quantity previous year (4)
- Revenue
margin (5)
- Revenue
margin previous year (6)
- Standard
cost price (9)
Calculation
method
Indicate which calculation method
should be used. You have the following options :
- Period figures (1): Only figures from the selected period will
be displayed, in the default currency.
- Cumulative (2): The cumulative amount, so all the transactions
up to and including the seledted period in the default currency.
Example
REV_GROUP("109";4;" 1010";17;"12";1;1)
In the worksheet, the result displays the amount of items
from item group '109' that representative 4 sold to debtor 1010
in period 12 in administration 17.
