PU 506 | 505 | 504 (Globe+) and 424 (Globe): Updates to sales and purchase register reports (Romanian legislation)
There is a new VAT system in Romania, will come into effect on 1 August 2025. The changes are as follows:
- The standard VAT rate increases from 19% to 21%.
- The current VAT rate consolidation of 5% and 9% will be replaced with a flat 11% rate.
- The sales and purchase register reports will be enhanced to reflect the new VAT rates.
We have made changes to the following menu paths:
New option
We have introduced the >=2025 option for the Report field.
New VAT percentage fields
We have added the Sorting sequence field under the VAT percentage section. The default value for VAT 1 field is “21” and VAT 2 field is “11”. The VAT 3 field will be “0”. You can define these fields. The validations for these fields are as below:
- Only numbers are accepted.
- Only positive values are accepted.
- The fields are mandatory. If the fields are left blank, the value “0” will be displayed.
- The value must be between 0 and 100.
Sales register and purchase register reports
The sales and purchase register reports will display three VAT columns, and if the VAT percentage is not defined, the value “NA” will be displayed in the column.
