Problem

During scanning of Sales Order Fulfillment or Production Issues, following message appears:
    "Quantity: scanned less than ordered" or   "Aantal: Minder gescand dan besteld"

 

Cause and solution

This is because, according to WMS settings, partial delivery is not allowed. Following settings are applied:

• the setting "allow partial delivery" in the sales order, button "conditions"
• the setting "Difference in backorder" in System, General, Settings, E-WMS Sales Order Fulfillment, section "Manual validation". When disabled, picking less is not allowed.
• For Production Issues, this is the setting "Allow issuing less" in System, General, Settings, E-WMS Production - Issues, section "Manual validation"
• Picking less is always allowed when 'SSCC' is activated, or when picking a serial/batch item
