Issue

Office Add-in does not work in one of the modules of Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007.

Solution

Microsoft Office sometimes disable items which have encountered problems. The following steps can be taken to enable the items again:

Microsoft Office 2003

  1. Open About Microsoft Office XXXXX from the Help menu.


     
  2. Click the Disabled Items button.


     
  3. Click the Enable button to enable the required Add-in item(s), if found to be disabled.

    Microsoft Office 2007

    1. Right click the Office button and select Customize Quick Access Toolbar....


       
    2. Select Add-Ins, select Disabled Items at the Manage field, and then click Go.


       
    3. Click the Enable button to enable the required Add-in item(s), if found to be disabled.
