PU 508 | 507 | 506 (Globe+): Removal of encrypted SQL objects for Azure SQL Server compatibility (Polish legislation)
The encrypted SQL-stored procedures, views, and functions are now automatically removed during the SDK update process. The required SQL objects are recreated without encryption when the following menu paths are accessed, or when reports are generated:
- (screen load and report generation)
Several functionalities are now created directly through the CSPLKPKWECustomSolutions.sql script. SQL objects that are generated dynamically by the application will be created automatically when you access the relevant menu paths or execute reports, but they will be created without encryption.
Functions that previously relied on runtime creation are now delivered through the SQL script during deployment. Additionally, you may experience a minor delay the first time certain reports or screens are opened after the update.
Note: This functionality is applicable only if you have a SE0008_PLKPKWE license with the 605 option. The change affects only the SQL object encryption settings.
Limitations
The update requires successful execution of the updated CSPLKPKWECustomSolutions.sql script and related DLL components. Version numbers have been updated to trigger automatic recreation of SQL objects.
