This is only available if you have selected the Activate: Advanced Work Schedules check box under the Person: Planning section of the HRM general settings. For more information on the general settings, see Defining HRM General Settings. At this page, you can define one or more criteria of the required people for the following purposes:
HRM/Setup/Schedules/Work schedule linking
To list the required people, function right 100 - Maintain default work schedule, 101 – Maintain company work schedule, or 102 – Maintain individual work schedule is required. Users with the HR role have these function rights. However, users with the HR assistant role also have function right 102.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to display the list of people based on the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh and the Link, Delete, Block, and Unblock buttons will be available.
Click this to update the list, according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can define a new list.
Click this to link the selected person(s) to a work schedule group.
Note: This is available only after you click Show.
Click this to unlink a work schedule group from the selected person(s).
Click this to block a work schedule group from the selected person(s).
Click this to unblock a work schedule group from to the selected person(s).
Click this to exit and return to the previous page.
By default, the division of the person who is currently logged on to the system is displayed. If required, type or select a different division to display the people under this division. This information is mandatory. For more information, see Overview of Divisions.
Type or select a cost center to display the people under this cost center. Leave this blank to display the people under all cost centers. For more information, see Overview of Cost Centers.
Type or select a person or range of people to display this person or people in this range. Leave this blank to display all the people. For more information, see Viewing People.
Select the Employee, Contractor, Student, and/or or Temporary check boxes to display the corresponding types of people. Clear all the check boxes to display all types of people.
Type or select a job group to display the people under this job group. Leave this blank to display the people under all job groups. For more information, see Overview of Job Groups.
Type or select a job title to display the people with this job title. Leave this blank to display the people with any job title. For more information, see Overview of Job Titles.
Type or select a job activity to display the people that are linked to this job activity. Leave this blank to display the people that are linked to any job activity. For more information, see Overview of Job Activities.
Select the Active, and/or Hired check boxes to display people with the corresponding status. Clear all the check boxes to display people with any status.
After defining one or more criteria, click Show or Refresh. The people will be displayed in this section, as shown in the following screen:
Select the check box in the header to select all the people at once. Select the check box for the corresponding person(s) to select only the particular person(s).
This displays the IDs of people. Click the hyperlink to link multiple work schedule groups to a person. For more information, see Linking Multiple Work Schedule Groups to a Person.
This displays the names of people.
This displays the names of divisions of the corresponding people.
This displays the codes and description of cost centers of the corresponding people.
