Creating Favorites

Introduction
This page allows you to create Favorites manually. It is accessed by clicking New at the System: Favorites page. Alternatively, you can also click 
on the title bar wherever available to automatically select that page as a favorite. A favorite acts as a bookmark whereby it can be accessed quickly from your Favorites page or from the Favorites widget that can be added into your Homepage.
The Favorites in Exact Synergy Enterprise is not dependent on the computer. As such, you can access your personal Favorites from different computers.
Note: You must have an existing category before you can create a favorite.
Roles and rights
All users can create Favorites.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 255 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I create favorites?
- On the System: Favorites page, click New.
- Define the fields.
- Click Save, and then Close to exit.
Buttons
Save
Click this to save the details of the favorite. After saving, the page will close.
Save + New
Click this to save the favorite and create another favorite.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
General section
Category
Select the category to which the favorite belongs. This is a mandatory field.
Description
Type a description for the favorite. This is a mandatory field.
URL
Type the link location for the favorite. This is a mandatory field.
