Product Updates 419, 418, and 417: Intrastat, Belcotax, VAT return, VAT listing, and EU sales list enhanced (Belgian legislation)

The following enhancements have been made in Exact Globe Next for the Belgian legislation: 

Sales entries

The Country of origin field has been added in the Intrastat data screen (accessible via Finance ➔ Entries ➔ Sales, and by pressing tab in the entry line) for the sales entries. By default, the value of the field will be defined based on the country of origin that has been defined in the item maintenance screen of the item’s main supplier. You will be able to change the value in the Intrastat data screen manually. The field will be left blank if there is no country of origin defined in the item maintenance screen.

Intrastat overview screen

The Country of origin column will be made available for the financial entries in the Intrastat overview screen (accessible via Finance ➔ VAT/Statistics ➔ Intrastat). In addition, the Origin column has been renamed Country.

Furthermore, you will be able to define the country of origin in the overview screen by clicking the Edit button. The following screen will be displayed: 

XML output for Intrastat

The <EXCNTORI> tag will reflect the country of the origin of the financial entries. By default, if the country of origin is not defined, the value “QU” will be reflected at the tag. 

File name for Intrastat XML file

The following table lists the changes of the file names of the XML file for dispatches:

Note that the file names of the XML file for arrival remain the same.

XML output for VAT return

The new <common:EmailAddress> tag has been added under the <Declarant> block in the XML file for the VAT return. The value that will be reflected at the tag will be based on the option that has been selected for the contact person.

• If the Company contact person option is selected, the tag will reflect the email address of the current user of the account in the Exact Globe Next administration.
  
  
  
• If the Contact person option is selected, the tag will reflect the email address of the selected contact person.
  
  
  
• If the Other option is selected, the tag will reflect the email address of the current user of the account in the Exact Globe Next administration. If there is no e-mail address defined for the user, the e-mail address that has been defined at the E-mail field in the account maintenance screen will be used instead.
    

XML for EU sales list and VAT listing

The <common:EmailAddress> tag under the <Declarant> block for the EU sales list and VAT listing will reflect the e-mail address of the contact person that has been defined at the Contact person field in the account maintenance screen. 

Belcotax

The option 281.30 (2085) - Income intended in article 228, §3, WIB 92 has been added at the Reward type field in the general ledger maintenance screen.

The option will be displayed in the Belcotax 281.30 report as follows:

The <f30_2085_art2283> tag has been added in the Belcotax 281.30 XML, and will be available for reports for the financial year 2018 onwards. The tag will reflect the value of the sum of all VAT basis of financial entries for the specified year.
