PU 506 | 505 | 504 (Globe+) and 424 (Globe): Intermediary login and other improvements for MYInvois (Malaysian legislation)
Exact Globe+ has been supporting the e-Invoice functionality in XML and the submission of invoices through API.
In this product update, we have updated the following:
Intermediary checkbox in Company data settings
We have added the Intermediary checkbox under the MyInvois section in the Company data settings screen (). If this checkbox is selected, the company can log in as the intermediary to submit the e-Invoice to LHDN for the taxpayer.
The taxpayer must provide the following information:
- Client ID and Client Secret of the main account
- Digital certificate and certificate password of the main account
- BRN and TIN number of the intermediary company
LineDescription in self-billed XML is exposed
The LineDescription field is now available to help distinguish items with the same item code in self-billed entry lines. Normally, the user will use the standard item code and different line descriptions in the purchase journal for self-billed invoices. If the user decides to use the line description, the user can adjust the XSL for the invoice type code to a self-billed invoice.
You can customise the “MYUBLExport.xsl” file to retrieve the description. However, this is only applicable for self-billed entries.
State description is replaced with numeric values
When e-Invoices are sent to the foreign countries and the state code is numeric, LHDN will reject the invoice with “Invalid” status.
With this improvement, the State description will be used and if the State is not defined, the existing State code “17” will be used.
The following is a sample XML whereby the invoice debtor country is Singapore.
Absence type and Description is exposed
The absence type and description fields are now available.
If the Type and Description filters for the absence are defined, they will appear in the XML file. Otherwise, the entire tag will be omitted.
You can update the XSL file and retrieve the reference number.
