Entity
Select the entity for which you want to create a property. If you select
{Items}, you can only link this property to an item.
Example
You may create a property for
a project that describes the duration of the project. You select {Project} in
'Entity'.
Property
Enter a clear code for the property you are creating.
Example
Enter the code 'Length' for
the property that indicates the duration. Enter a description such as 'Length of
the project'.
Type
You can indicate per property the form of the input of the property will
have. When you select a property type here, you define the input for the
property when you link it to, for example, a project.
Example
If you want to make the input
of the property 'Length' a yes or no field, select {Logical} in 'Type'. If you
want to be able to select from more than one answer, select {Multiple
choice}.
Unit
You can indicate which unit is used for this property, if you selected {Whole
number (no fractions)}, {Real floating point number} or {Numerical range} in
'Type'.
Length
You can enter the length of the response field, if you selected
{Alphanumerical string} in 'Type'.
Decimals
You can enter the decimals of the response field, if you selected {Real
floating point number} or {Numerical range} in 'Type'.
