Introduction
This page allows you to display the percentage of employees according to the division, cost center, request type, or person type who contributes to the majority of absent days within a selected period. You can choose to display the statistics in ABC analysis or % Interval.
Roles and rights
To view the ABC analysis of the absence
statistics, function right 158 — View resources report is required. By default, users with the General manager, HR, or HR assistant role have this function right.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the ABC analysis of absence statistics?
- Define the criteria under the Criteria section.
- Click Show.
Buttons
Close
Click this to exit.
Show
Click this to display the statistics according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Refresh
Click this to update the statistics according to the defined criteria.
Reset
Click this to clear all the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Fields
Division
Type or select the division code to display the statistics of people belonging to the selected division. Once you have selected a division, you can view the details of the division by clicking the name of the division displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing division cards.
Cost centre
Type or select the cost center code to display the statistics of people belonging to the selected cost center. Once you have selected a cost center, you can view the details of the cost center by clicking the name of the cost center displayed next to the box. For more information, see Creating and modifying cost centers.
Request type
Select a request type to display the statistics based on the selected request type.
Date
Type or select a date or date range to display the statistics based on the defined date range.
Type
Select the Employee, Contractor, Student, and/or Temporary check boxes to include the respective types of employment in the statistics.
Status
Select the Active, Hired, and/or Inactive check boxes to include the respective statuses of the people in the statistics.
ABC analysis
To display the statistics in ABC analysis, type the percentage to indicate the employees’ contribution of absence days at A, B, and C. You must fill in all the boxes and the total values added up must be equal to 100. Value A must be greater or equal to value B, and value B must be greater or equal to value C. Alternatively, value A must be smaller or equal to value B, and value B must be smaller or equal to value C. For example, if you type “80”, “20”, and “0” at A, B, and C respectively, it means X% of the employee contributes to 80% of the absence days, while Y% of the employee contributes to 20% of the absence days, and Z% of the employee contributes to the 0% of the absence days.
% Interval
To display the statistics in % Interval, select the check box and type the percentage of the interval and the graph will plot a point accordingly. For example, if you type “5” at % Interval, the graph will plot a point at a 5% interval.
