Delivered serial/batch numbers report

Introduction

You can generate a report on delivered serial/batch numbers by going to Inventory/Serial/batch/Delivered. The report contains information on delivered serial numbers such as the serial number, the start and end dates for which the serial number is valid, order number, and order type. You can use this report to track the used serial numbers for customer service purposes such as tracking the item’s warranty period, recording of complaints/services, after-sales support and recalling of faulty items.

Description

You can filter the serial/batch numbers that you want to display. To display serial/batch numbers, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Start. The serial/batch numbers that match the criteria you have entered are then displayed.

Range section

Select Serial numbers or Batches to display the delivered serial numbers or batch numbers respectively.

Warehouse

Type or select a warehouse or a range of warehouses to display the delivered serial/batch numbers that are linked to the warehouse(s). Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers from all warehouses.

Sales order type

Select the order type fulfilled by the delivered serial/batch numbers such as Sales order, Internal delivery, Warehouse transfers, and Production order. Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all order types.

Note: Sales order type will only be enabled when the All check box is cleared.

Supplier

Type or select a creditor number or range of creditor numbers to display the delivered serial/batch numbers that are received from the supplier(s). Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all suppliers.

Debtor

Type or select a debtor number or range of debtor numbers to display the delivered serial/batch numbers that are delivered to the debtor(s). Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all debtors.

Resource

Type or select a resource ID or range of resource IDs to display the delivered serial/batch numbers created by the resource.

Fulfillment date

Type or select a fulfillment date or range of fulfillment dates to display the serial/batch numbers for orders with the fulfillment dates. Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all fulfillment dates.

Serial number/Batch number

Type or select a serial/batch number or range of serial/batch numbers to display the delivered serial/batch number(s). Select the All check box to display all serial/batch numbers.

Note: Serial number or Batch number is available depending on your earlier selection of either Serial numbers or Batches.

Item

Type or select an item code or range of item codes to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for those items. Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all items.

Lot number

Type or select a lot number or range of lot numbers to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for items with the lot number(s). Select the All check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers for all lot numbers.

Print section

Lot number

Select the Lot number check box to display the delivered serial/batch numbers with the respective lot numbers, if applicable.

Buttons

Start

Click Start to generate a preview of the delivered serial numbers report. After you click Start, you will see the Delivered screen. You can proceed to print the report by clicking on the Print button  found at the bottom of the screen.

Close

Click Close to exit.
