Introduction

It is possible to modify the function rights available in the system to suit your company needs. For instance, you may want to change the target associated to a specific function rights if you want to modify the accessibility of the target based on the function rights given to users. Apart from this, you can also delete the function rights which you do not want to use in the system.

Roles and rights

To modify or delete function rights, function right 187 - Maintain roles in function ID’s is required. Users with the Administrator or HR role have this function right.

How do I modify a function right?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click Search to search for a specific function right or click on the hyperlinks under the Functions column to manually search through the related modules.
2. On the System: Functions page, click the relevant function right ID under the ID column.
3. On the System: Function page of the selected function right, click Edit.
4. On the edit mode of the System: Function page, define the relevant fields.
5. Click Save.

How do I delete a function right?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click Search to search for a specific function right or click on the hyperlinks under the Functions column to manually search through the related modules.
2. On the System: Functions page, click the relevant function right ID under the ID column.
3. Click Delete.
