PU 423|422|421 (Globe) and 500|422|421 (Globe+): Updates to Intrastat 2022 for CSV (Austrian legislation)

INTRASTAT is a system for collecting statistics for the physical trade in goods between the member states of the European Union. Some changes are made to the INTRASTAT return for CSV, effective as of year 2022.

The following changes are only applicable for import and export.

1. The Nature of Transactions (NoT) code now uses 2 digits. This code indicates the specific clauses in the business contract.



2. The following displays the new and modified fields for year 2022:



The changes for export are as follows:

• Country of Origin (COO) is mandatory.
• Debtor VAT number is mandatory.

In general, the changes are as follows:

• Nature of Transaction (NoT) code is in 2 digits.
• Net mass and Supplementary unit are in 3 decimals.
• Invoice value and Statistical value are in 2 decimals.
