Maintain: Surcharge code

Surcharge code
Enter a unique code and description for the surcharge code that you want to create.
General tab
Surcharge type
Select the type of surcharge code. There are two options available:
- {Percentage} - you will have to enter the percentage that you want to use for the surcharge code.
- {Amount} - you will have to enter the currency and the amount that you want to use for the surcharge code.
Percentage
Enter the percentage used by this surcharge code, if the 'Surcharge type" selected is {Percentage}.
Currency
Enter the currency in which the amount of the surcharge code is shown. This setting only enabled when you have selected {Amount} for 'Surcharge type'.
Amount
Enter the amount used by this surcharge code. This setting only enabled when you have selected {Amount} for 'Surcharge type'.
Documents tab
You can click the 'Add' button to link documents to the surcharge code or 'Delete' button to delete the documents.
Matrix for data entry
Category code: External
Select an external category of the document to be linked to the surcharge code. You can create external categories in [System: Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance].
Description
Enter a description of the linked document, if required.
Path: Complete
Enter the full path or URL of the document. The path in the 'Fixed location' field on the 'General' tab in [System: Setup, Documents, External categories, Maintenance] if defined, will be filled in by default. Then you will only need to enter the remaining path.
