Overview of System Settings

Introduction

It is possible to obtain an overview of all the system settings defined for General, Division, User, and Back office types of fields. In addition, you can also create new system settings.

Roles & rights

Only users with the Administrator role or function right 1063 - Allow to view baco settings can access this page.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the overview based on the defined criteria.

Refresh

Click this to refresh the overview based on the last defined criteria. You can only see this button after you have clicked Show.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria.

New

Click this to create new system settings. For more information, see Creating New System Settings.

Note: This button is available only if you select General, Division, or User at Type.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Type

Select the type of setting to view the system settings for the selected setting type. There are four options available:

General
Division
User
Back office

Name: Starts with

Type a setting name that starts with a certain letter or word to display the system settings for the corresponding setting name.

Division

Type or select the division to view the system settings for the selected division. For more information, see Overview of Divisions.

Note: This field is available only if you select Division at Type.

User

Select the user to view the system settings for the selected user.

Note: This field is available only if you select User at Type.

Group (Starts with)

Type a setting group name that starts with a certain letter or word to display the system settings for the group.

Note: This field is available only if you select Back office at Type.
