PU 423|422|421 (Globe) and 500|422|421 (Globe+): Bank statement import for CAMT53 and CAMT54 improved

In this product update, we have made several changes to the bank statement import for CAMT53 and CAMT54. These changes are made to improve the system limitations and they are as follows:

Remove unnecessary namespace

If the CAMT54 file provided consists of an additional namespace under the XML tags, the namespace will be removed so the bank import can take place.

Less restriction in handling the CAMT53 and CAMT54 bank statements

The validation on the <Prtry> and <ValDT> XML tags are removed in case both the XML tags do not exist in the CAMT53 and CAMT54 files.

Splitting of detailed transactions

There are some differences in the CAMT53 or CAMT54 bank statements provided by different financial institutions. The <AmtDtls> XML tag is used to identify detailed transactions. However, this XML tag is optional. Thus, the <Amt> XML tag will be used as the main XML tag to split the transactions.

Handling of <MsgId> XML tag in CAMT54

The <MsgId> XML tag under the <Ntry>/< AddtlInfInd >/<MsgId> XML tags might not be the same as the CAMT54 <BkToCstmrDbtCdtNtfctn>/<GrpHdr>/<MsgId> XML tags. This validation is removed.
