Introduction

This page displays a list of personal data classifications linked to an employee, account, or contact person. From this page, you can also link personal data classifications to the employee, account, or contact person.

Roles and rights

To access this page, function right 1029 — Personal data management is required. By default, users with the Personal data controller role have this function right.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 261 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I view the listing of personal data classifications?

  1. On the respective search page, define the relevant fields, and then click Show.
  2. Click the required employee or account. To select a contact person, click the required account to display the account card. Then, click the name of the contact person under the Contacts section.
  3. Click the  Personal data hyperlink.

How do I add personal data classifications to employees, accounts, or contact people?

  1. On the respective search page, define the relevant fields, and then click Show.
  2. Click the required employee or account. To select a contact person, click the required account to display the account card. Then, click the name of the contact person under the Contacts section.
  3. Click the Personal data hyperlink. The System: Classifications page will be displayed.
  4. Click Add.
  5. At Classification, click . The Personal data classifications pop-up page will be displayed.
  6. Select the check boxes of the respective personal data classifications, and then click Add.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Click Save to return to the listing page.

How do I remove personal data classifications from employees, accounts, or contact people?

  1. On the respective search page, define the relevant fields, and then click Show.
  2. Click the required employee or account. To select a contact person, click the required account to display the account card. Then, click the name of the contact person under the Contacts section.
  3. Click the Personal data hyperlink. The System: Classifications page will be displayed.
  4. Select the check boxes of the respective personal data classifications to be removed.
  5. Click Delete. A message will be displayed to confirm the deletion.
  6. Click Yes. The selected personal data classifications will no longer be linked to the employee, account, or contact person.
