How to use Exact Event Manager when Exact Synergy Enterprise is configured for federated identity

Introduction

Exact Event Manager does not support federated identity authentication using Auth0 or WAAD (Windows Azure Active Directory), so how can I still use Exact Event Manager when Exact Synergy Enterprise or Exact Globe+ is setup to use Auth0 or WAAD? 

Explanation 

Exact Event Manager can be used to create or update data in Exact Synergy Enterprise or Exact Globe+. For Exact Globe+ connection is always directly via Microsoft SQL Server and that connection method is not affected by federated identity. Exact Event Manager can connect to Exact Synergy Enterprise and create or update data either via direct connection to Microsoft SQL Server or using the web services of Exact Synergy Enterprise.

When the web service of Exact Synergy Enterprise is used and Exact Synergy Enterprise is setup for federated identity the connection from Exact Event Manager will not work. To be able to use Exact Event Manager and connect to Exact Synergy Enterprise using the web services, Exact Synergy Enterprise need to be setup to use windows authentication. That environment of Exact Synergy Enterprise can then be used by Exact Event Manager.
