This screen allows you to search for missing or duplicate journal entry numbers based on the financial year, period, and type of journal. The result will then be displayed in a Microsoft Excel worksheet.
Accountancy ➔ Check ➔ Entry number check
Type the financial year to search for journal(s) with missing or duplicate journal entry numbers for the year. This is mandatory.
Type the period range to search for journal(s) with missing or duplicate journal entry numbers for the period. You can also select the All check box to search for missing or duplicate journal entry numbers from journals with any period.
Type or select a journal to search for missing or duplicate journal entry numbers from the selected journal.
Select Missing entry numbers to view journal entry numbers that are missing or Duplicate entry number to view duplicated journal entry numbers from the selected journal(s).
Click this to view the report in Microsoft Excel.
Click this to exit.
