Introduction

You can obtain an overview displaying the modules and the number of function rights linked to each module in Exact Synergy Enterprise. Function rights are important as they determine the specific rights held by everyone, allowing different people to gain access to different modules and perform various functions.

Roles and rights

All users can obtain the overview of the number of function rights linked to every module. To maintain function rights, function right 187 – Maintain roles in function ID's is required. By default, users with the Administrator role have this function right.

How do I search for a function right?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click Search.
2. On the System: Search – Functions page, define the relevant fields.
3. Click Show.

How do I create a function right?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click New.
2. On the System: Function page, define the relevant fields.
3. Click Save to save the settings or click Save + New to save the settings and create another function right. For more information, see Creating function rights.

Keep in mind: All fields marked with the "!" icon are mandatory.

How do I view the XML script of function rights?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click XML.
2. On the System: Function rights page, define the directory to save the XML file at the XML: Directory field.
3. Click Save.
4. Locate the saved XML file and open it.
