Viewing catalog of groups

  • Click the Browse groups hyperlink on the Timeline page.

Introduction

This page lists all public groups in the system, and public or private groups of which you are a member, owner, or manager. The groups are displayed in the form of cards.

You can also make use of the filter criteria on the left panel to display only the groups that you want to see. In this document, the group term refers to both the public and private types, unless specified.

Roles and rights

All users with a role are able to access this page. This page is not available for customers, resellers, suppliers, and users without a role.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 262 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I view the group timeline page of a group?

  1. On the Groups catalogue page in the Browse groups section, select the required option.
  2. In the Criteria section, define a part of the title or the full title of the group, and/or select the person who is the owner of the group.
  3. Click Apply. This step is required only if you have defined the criteria in the Criteria section.
  4. Click the title of the group that is displayed on the content grid. The group timeline page will be displayed. For more information, see Overview of group timeline page.

How do I join groups?

  1. On the Groups catalogue page in the Browse groups section, select the required option.
  2. In the Criteria section, define a part of the title or the full title of the group, and/or select the person who is the owner of the group.
  3. Click Apply. This step is required only if you have defined the criteria in the Criteria section.
  4. On the particular group card on the content grid, click , and then select Join.

Keep in mind: Join is available if the type of the group is Public and you are currently not a member of the group.

How do I leave groups?

  1. On the Groups catalogue page in the Browse groups section, select the required option.
  2. In the Criteria section, define a part of the title or the full title of the group, and/or select the person who is the owner of the group.
  3. Click Apply. This step is required only if you have defined the criteria in the Criteria section.
  4. On the particular group card on the content grid, click , and then select Leave.

Keep in mind: Leave is not enabled if you are the owner of the group, or if the group is set as a mandatory group (the Mandatory group check box is selected).
