Viewing logs for security roles

Introduction
This document provides you the steps to viewing the log
reports for roles and rights.
The log reports keep track of information changed by the
user. Performing checks on the log reports proactively helps organizations to
better realize the value of their existing security infrastructure.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product
update 407 and higher . If you have versions lower than this, certain features
explained here will not be applicable.
How do I display the log reports?
- Click Log.
- At Show, select the relevant option to display the log report according to
the selected option.

Roles – People
Select this option to display the log reports based on the
following:
- people who have been assigned to roles, and
- people who have been removed from roles.
Roles – Menu / Function rights
Select this option to display the log reports based on the
following:
- creating a role,
- deleting a role, and
- editing a role by updating the menu access rights and function
rights.
Note: Once the role is deleted, you will not be able
to retrieve old entries.
Roles – Recode / Copy
Select this option to display the log reports when:
- a role is recoded; the log records will depict the
previous role used and the person who recoded the role,
- you copy a role from another company; the log records will
depict the person who copied the role and the company from which the role
was copied, and
- a role is copied from another company and overwritten; the
log records will depict that a role has been overwritten, the person who
performed the action, and the company from which the role was copied.
Note: By default, the Roles – People option is
selected and the log records displayed are sorted by Date/Time.
