Overview of project rates

Introduction

On this page, you can view a list of project rates, as well as create and delete project and customer rates.

Roles & rights

  • You can view project rates if you have the Project controller role, or if you are the manager of the project and have the Project manager role.
  • You can view and maintain project rates if you have the Project controller role with function right 1015 - Maintain rates assigned, or if you are the manager of the project and have the Project manager role with function right 1015 - Maintain rates assigned.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 263 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I view the overview of project rates for all projects?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.

How do I view the overview of project rates for projects in which I am a member?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Refresh.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.

How do I create project members?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, in the Members section, click New. For more information, see Adding and maintaining project members.

How do I create project rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, in the Project rates section, click New. For more information, see Creating and modifying project rates.

How do I create customer rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, in the Customer rates section, click New. For more information, see Creating and modifying customer rates.

How do I edit the start and end dates of a project?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, in the Members section, click the Edit link under the Action column of the required project member. For more information, see Adding and maintaining project members.

How do I edit project rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, in the Customer rates section, click the Edit link under the Action column of the required customer rate. For more information, see Creating and modifying customer rates.

How do I adjust the end date of a project?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, click End date.
  6. Define a new date at New end date.
  7. Select the check box(es) corresponding to the areas to apply the new end date.
  8. Click Save.

How do I apply rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
  4. Click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page, click Apply Rates. The message “Apply latest rates to all unapproved hour planning & realization request of this project?” will be displayed.
  6. Click Yes.
