Batch 350 : New Intrastat return format for Belgium

Background
Currently the Belgium intrastat return file (.sdv or .sdf) is generated in a fixed length format. Also there is no separator between the data . In batch 350 ITX format is introduced to meet the new Belgium intrastat return format requirements.

What has been changed
The ITX files has the following features:

  • The data in the file is separated by semicolons which enables the data to be exported to other application like Microsoft excel
  • Variable data length in the file.
  • In the Intrastat return screen, users can select this new option in the intrastat pop up.
  • Two files are generated for this option :
    • Dispatch return - 29MMYYYY.tx (e.g. 29082004.itx)
    • Arrival return - 19MMYYYY.tx (e.g. 19082004.itx)
