On this page, you can view a list of job titles as well as create and delete job titles. A job title contains further information of a job activity. For example, the “Junior Sales Consultant” and “Senior Sales Consultant” are job titles with different job level and security level. The two job titles are linked to the same job activity, which is “After Sales Consultancy”.
All users can view the list of job titles. However, to create or modify job titles, function right 96 — Maintain job titles is required. By default, users with the HR role have this function right.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the "!" icon are mandatory.
Keep in mind: You cannot delete a job title that is currently linked to a person.
Click this to exit.
Click this to display the results according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, it will change to Refresh.
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Click this to create a job title. For more information, see Creating and modifying job titles.
Click this to delete the selected job titles.
Click this to create a job group. For more information, see Creating and modifying job groups.
Click this to create a job activity. For more information, see Creating and modifying job activities.
Type the job level of the job title to display the job groups, job activities, and job titles with job levels that are equal to or higher than the value filled in.
Note: This field is not applicable if the All check box is selected. When you have selected the All check box and clicked Refresh, this field will be disabled.
Select this check box to display all the job groups, job activities, and job titles available in the system.
Type a number to define the number of job titles to be displayed on a single page. Click Show to update the page size.
Note: This is available when the list of job titles is displayed.
Select the check boxes to determine the job titles that you want to delete.
This column displays the job groups that are available in the system. You can click the hyperlink to view the corresponding job group. For more information, see Viewing job groups.
This column displays the job activities that are available in the system. You can click the hyperlink to view the corresponding job activity. For more information, see Viewing job activities.
This column displays the job titles that are available in the system. You can click the hyperlink to view the corresponding job title. For more information, see Viewing job titles.
This column displays the security levels of the job titles.
