The installation instructions can be read in this installation document.
Note: customers with custom-made software cannot download updates via the internet.
Release Notes
You can read which environments are supported, which modifications have been made, what new functionality has been added and which products are available in the Release Notes.
Check the following items:
- Ensure that you are currently using Exact Financials version 7.22. The version number can be viewed in [ ?, About ].
- Further information concerning the installation can be found in the [installation document].
Download
Download the software for your environment. The installer should be started on the server and will, after confirmation of several details, do the following:
- stop AppServer
- stop WebSpeed
- install new software for AppServer / WebSpeed and scheduler
- start AppServer
- start WebSpeed
Afterwards the WebClient can be started, this will download the new WebClient software. After logging on to Exact you will be asked if you want to start the update to this version.
Progress OpenEdge 11.6 / 11.5 / 11.4
The AppServer software is installed on the server, the same software can be run on a Windows, Unix or Linux server.
