PU 424 | 423 | 422 (Globe) and 501 | 500 | 422 (Globe+): Improvements to Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payment files
The charge bearer <ChrgBr> tag is currently placed in
the payment information block header when generating XML files for SEPA payments. In addition, the transaction data for each payment information block is
grouped by currency.
Due to this placement and grouping, the cumulative
<ChrgBr> value is inaccurate for some of these transactions. This happens
when there are differences in the creditor bank number master data for the
transactions of a particular block.
In this product update, we've made improvements to ensure that
you can generate your XML files with the correct information. The changes will take effect when you
run your latest product updater.
Adjustments to the charge bearer <ChrgBr> tag placement
We've now placed the <ChrgBr> tag (with its
respective value defined in the creditor bank number master data) in each
transaction level. This change applies to non-SEPA payments made using non-EUR
currencies, or international non-SEPA payments made outside of the SEPA
zone.
In cases where SEPA payments are made within the
SEPA zone using the EUR currency, the <ChrgBr> tag will be placed in the
header of the payment information block for all the SEPA transactions.
