Expired serial/batch numbers report

Introduction

You can generate a report on serial/batch number expiry dates by going to Inventory/Serial/batch/Expiry date. The report contains information on expiry dates for serial/batch numbers such as the lot number (if any), end date, number of days before the serial/batch number expires, quantity, reserved quantity, used quantity, and sales quantity. You can use this report to keep track of the expiry of serial/batch numbers.

Description

You can filter the serial/batch numbers that you want to display. To search for serial/batch numbers, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Start. The serial/batch numbers that match the defined search criteria are then displayed.

Range section

Select either Serial numbers or Batch numbers to display the serial numbers or batch numbers respectively.

Warehouse

Type or select a warehouse or range of warehouses to display the serial/batch numbers that are linked to the warehouse(s). Select the All check box to display serial/batch numbers for all warehouses.

Supplier

Type or select the creditor number or range of creditor numbers to display the serial/batch numbers that are supplied by the supplier(s). Select the All check box to display the serial/batch numbers for all suppliers.

Reference date

Type or select a date to display the serial/batch numbers that expires on or before the date.

Serial number/Batch number

Type or select a serial/batch number or range of serial/batch numbers to display the serial number(s) expiry details. Select the All check box to display all serial/batch numbers.

Note: Serial number or Batch number is available depending on your earlier selection of either Serial numbers or Batch numbers.

Item

Type or select an item code or range of item codes to display the serial/batch numbers for the item(s). Select the All check box to display the serial/batch numbers for all the items.

Lot number

Type or select a lot number or range of lot numbers to display the serial/batch numbers for items with the lot number(s). Select the All check box to display the serial/batch numbers for all lot numbers.

Expired

Select the Expired check box to display the serial/batch numbers that have exceeded their expiry dates.

Print section

Lot number

Select the Lot number check box to display the serial/batch numbers with the respective lot numbers (if any).

Buttons

Start

Click Start to generate a preview of the expired serial/batch numbers report. After you click Start, you will see the Expiry date screen. You can proceed to print the report by clicking on the Print button at the bottom of the screen.

Close

Click Close to exit.
