How-to: Setting up Exact Central Master Data Management (CMDM) in Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS)

Introduction

Exact Central Master Data Management (CMDM) is now supported in Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS). This document describes the configuration steps required to set up the synchronization between Exact Synergy Enterprise (ESE), Exact Globe+ (EG+), and Exact Globe Next (EGN) in ELIS.

Scope

This document describes the following:

  • Setting up the Exact Central Master Data Management solution in ELIS
  • Configuring Exact Central Master Data Management
  • Add or remove clients for Exact Central Master Data Management in ELIS and Exact Synergy Enterprise (ESE)

Pre-requisites

To start the setup, the server must have the following:

  • ELIS Product Endpoint of ESE, EG+, and EGN are set up. To ensure that the back office connection works correctly, you have to define the user credentials, such as the username, password, and domain, during the configuration of the endpoints for ESE, EG+, and EGN.

In addition, the user account that is used when setting up the EG+ and EGN client needs to have the correct administrator rights. For more information about setting up clients, see How-to: Setting up client endpoints for Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS).
