Product Updates 420, 419, and 418: VAT control statement (VCS) improved in Exact Globe Next (Czech legislation)

Based on the latest amendment to the VAT Act 2019, the VAT control statement (VCS) has been improved to support the extended scope of corrections of bad debts. The enhancement is applicable to the new provision of § 46 et seq. or § 74a of the VAT Act, which serves as the correction of the tax and tax base for bad debts, and the original provision of § 44 of the VAT Act, which serves as the correction of tax on receivables from debtors in the insolvency proceedings.

The enhancement is as follows:

VAT codes screen

In the VAT codes screen (accessible via System ➔ General ➔ Countries ➔ Tax codes), new options have been added for selection at the VAT control statement drop-down box, in the General tab.

The following options are available for selection:

• A4 – § 46
• A4 – § 89 - § 46
• A4 – § 90 - § 46
• B2 – § 74a
• B2 – § 76 - § 74a

The following VAT control statement values are for the repairing of bad debts and will have the “P” value displayed at the <zdph_44> tag:
