Application Log Report

Introduction

You can obtain an application log report that displays the applications that are being accessed and those that had been accessed by defining one or more of the following criteria.

Roles & rights

Only users with the Administrator role or users with function right 1062 - Allow to view logs can obtain the application log report.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the report based on the defined criteria.

Refresh

Click this to refresh the report based on the last defined criteria. You can only see this button after you have clicked Show.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Date + time

Type the date and time range to display the report for applications accessed for the specified period.

Duration

Type the duration range in millisecond to display the report for applications accessed for the specified duration.

Server

Type the name of the server to display the report showing applications that are accessed from the server.

Person

Type or select the person to display the report for applications accessed by the selected person.

Account

Type or select the account to display the report for applications accessed by the selected account.

Session / SPID

Type the session code or the SPID (Service Profile Identifier) number to display the report based on the session code or the SPID number. Every time a user starts using Exact Synergy Enterprise, a session code will be assigned. By defining a session code, you will be able to know the applications used during a specific session.

Application (Starts with)

Type an application name that starts with a certain letter or word to display the report for this application. For example, you can type “Sys” to display the report on all the applications under the System module.

Parameters (Contains)

Type the parameters that contain a certain letter, word, text, or number to display the report based on the parameters. A parameter determines the action of an application.

User

Select the type of user to display the report for applications accessed by the selected type. There are four options available:

  • Employee
  • Reseller
  • Customer
  • Public

Leave the field blank to display the report for all types of users.
