This document describes restrictions in numbers of companies that can be used in WMS or ICL

Details

WMS does not have restrictions in the numbers of companies that can be used, besides the basic Globe license (SE0182 E-Multi Company Pack).

However, the WMS RF services can only handle one company at a time. If you were to use WMS for 2 Globe companies using RF (ASP) and the services for automated processing, then you would have to set up a dedicated services PC per company.

In ASP (hand terminals), you can use any number of (test) companies that are defined in the IIS ASP connections file. Before product update 404 however, the company number or name is not indicated in the ASP menu or picking screens.

Also ICL does not have restrictions on numbers of companies that can be used, other than the basic Globe license (SE0182 E-Multi Company Pack).

For the ICL services it is required that you configure one dedicated services PC per central 'stock' company in the ICL process. This also applies when a company acts both as central and as sales or purchase company.
