1.0 Introduction

Exact Globe able to translate number to written text for Chinese characters.  These translated Chinese characters are generic. It is to take care customer from different country might have different rules to define the amount in written text. For example amount 0.91, the written text for decimal place, some countries might follow rule:

In order to show the amount according to rules defined from China, we need some calculation fields to be inserted to Document Layout.

2.0 Description

This document will show one of the suggested step and formula to create the calculation field for reference of support people. However, there still have many alternatives to build the document layout according to customer need.

There are two sample layouts exported in file format .fkl attached in this document. In order to refer the layout samples, these two layouts need to be imported to correspond Documents settings layout. File INVCH.fkl is Invoice layout, file DNCN.pkl is Order Confirmation/Delivery Note layout.

2.1:  Chinese Invoice Layout Sample Overview

There are many calculation fields created in this sample layout and divided into four groups.

For example if user want to display Total to be paid written in text, user require to copy five hidden calculation fields and one shown calculation field at second line of the Total to be paid group.

Another example if user want to display Total VAT amount written in text, user require to copy five hidden calculation fields and one shown calculation field at second line of the Total VAT amount group.
