Introduction

This page displays the service activity requests that you have created based on the search criteria that you defined at Service management à Reports à Service activities à Service activities.

Roles & rights

To search for service activities, function right 858 – View service lines is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.

Notes:

  • For more details on function rights, go to System à Setup à Security à Function rights.
  • For more details on roles, go to System à Setup à Security à Roles.

The information in this document is based on product update 252.

How do I view the overview of service activities?

  1. On the Service activities page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.

How do I view service orders created for a service activity?

  1. On the Service activities page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select a request ID under the Request: ID column.

How do I create a service activity request?

  1. On the Service activities page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Click New. For more information, see New request menu.

How do I print or email the service activity?

  1. On the Service activities page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the relevant service activity check box beside the Request: ID column.
  4. Click Print report.
  5. On the Service activities documents page, select the Preview tab to view the service activity document or Email tab to email the service activity document.
  6. Click Print (under the Preview tab) to print the service activity document or Send (under the Email tab) to email the service activity document.

Keep in mind: The Print report button is enabled only if a service activity check box (the first column on the left) is selected.

You can customize the fields and columns that you want to be displayed on the page by clicking  Customize.
