Normally when you have started Exact Financials C/S after a few seconds a login screen will appear. When this appears and immediately the application is started, so there is no interaction form a user logging in. Also, in Exact Financials C/S itself you will have no rights what so ever. There can be two situations:

1. The _user table in the Progress database is empty.

2. The _user table in the Progress database contains a blank Userid.

Solutions:

1. Load the contents of the table (provided on the CD's of Exact Alliances) via Data Administration of Progress.

2. Remove the blank Userid via Data Administration of Progress. (Admin Security Edit User list Delete)
